We
pride ourselves on having a GREAT reputation with our vendors.
Most of them come back year after year and we REALLY appreciate our
amazing vendors and exhibitors.
Vendors and
exhibitors may sign up to participate for the show easily online. We
don't do applications, deposits, or contracts - We keep it SIMPLE for
you. You can sign up on one form, click submit and we'll email you an
invoice usually within 24 hours where you can choose your method of
payment.
The Vendor Registration Form is easily accessible through the GuitarShowMagazine.com website, just one click on
the home page. You may need to wait until the vendor sign-ups are
activated - which we typically do about 4 months or more before the
event. We don't sell booths before we have a signed contract with the
venue.
We also attract plenty of first-time vendors, which we LOVE! Here are some tools and info that vendors may need:
INSURANCE All exhibitors are required to have liability insurance listingDMEvarts, LLCas
additional insured. Address: DMEvarts, LLC, 12555 S Beaver Creek
Way. Amount required: $1,000,000. If you do not have your
own insurance company that can provide this, we will provide links for
you to get your insurance at minimal cost. Submit insurance proof and
questions toregistration@guitarshowmagazine.com.
SALES TAX We
hand out Sales Tax return info at the event with instructions listed.
These forms are created by the Colorado Dept of Revenue.
Anyone making sales at our special events must obtain a special event license,
regardless of whether you own a business, have a standard retail sales
tax license or are an individual without a business license. The
license costs$8 for one event, or $16 for multiple events over multiple years. So, you can pay the $16 and be covered for several shows for a couple of years.
Vendors
must file a DR0098 Special Event Retail Sales Tax Return. If a taxpayer
does not file, a non-filer estimated return will be assessed on the
account.
To correct an estimate, just file the correct amount of sales with payment - online or by mail.
The
Colorado Guitar Show is required by law to submit a list of all
participating vendors to the state (name & contact info only).
If
you don't make sales at the show (or only sell to people who are tax
exempt), let me know so I can leave you off of the list.
Here
are links to the forms you might need. If you need a copy of the Sales
Tax form we handed out at the show, let me know.
